A couple small purchases from Fred Meyer ;-)  Couldn't resist these freshwater pearl bracelets!  They both have great luster, and with my discount I can now afford some real pearls!

(I'm sorry if this photo upsets anyone...any artist knows that pain is part of the process; and I felt the desire to turn the camera on myself to see if I looked as bad as I felt.  This was one of the least painful looking pictures I took after crying for a solid 7 hours.)

For 99 cents I picked up some new henna application bottles...so I mixed up a batch.  Unfortunately the bottles didn't work out and I'm back to carrot bags.

More suit shopping today, this lead me on a journey to find suits I could afford.  Burlington Coat Factory is amazing, let me just say...amazing!  I found two more suits today, total cost only $53 and that includes the top and bottom on both!

What is it?  Hmmm...it's me working from home for one of the last times, I'll be sad to give it up.  But good things are ahead!

New suits for work $112, fitting into a size 10 and finding out that the pants on one suit were actually a size 8...PRICELESS. (especially considering I had to buy a size 16 pant when I started slimgenics)

At a "town hall" meeting for work today...love these cool lamps that were in the atrium of the hotel!

Had a great day, ate a real meal and did some shopping for new work clothes.

I opened my violin case and about 6 strings had popped off my old bow, my Gliga had been out of tune on the D string, but was now off tune on the A string as well.  The bridge on my Gliga was also now cracked.  Mayhem!!  So here you see me changing out the strings from the cheap violin (which had decent Helicore strings on it) to the Gliga...also attempted to sand a new bridge that I had, but wow, whole new appreciation for Luthiers just with that one attempt.

Lava says..."paint me!" he looks like art, beautiful cat really.  Just watching movies tonight and relaxing.

Trying to appreciate my cats...they've been better behaved since I broke out their cat carriers and left them sitting by the door.  Let that be a reminder to you cats...I am master of this house.
